EvidenceNOW: Managing Unhealthy Alcohol Use Webinar
In 2019, 大象视频launched the Managing Unhealthy Alcohol Use in Primary Care Initiative to help primary care practices increase efforts to address patients' unhealthy alcohol use (UAU). As a leading cause of preventable death, UAU is associated with a wide range of adverse consequences related to physical and mental health, and social and economic concerns.
The initiative funded grantee projects to disseminate effective quality improvement strategies to increase screening, management, and treatment of UAU in primary care through screening and brief intervention (SBI) and medication-assisted therapy (MAT), evidence-based strategies for addressing UAU. This webinar presents findings from the national evaluation conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago and findings from grantee projects in Colorado and Virginia.
